The rooms was spacious, bright and comfortable. There was a fair-sized surface to work on, though it wasn't a proper desk. There is plenty of space for parking in an enclosed area (locked at night). There is a good variety of public spaces, including a couple of garden areas. Only a short walk from the town of Melton Mowbray

We had an excellent experience from start to finish. The cleanest room we have ever stayed in and very comfortable and quiet. We slept very well. The hotel staff were very friendly. We would recommend the hotel to others. We are already planning a return visit. Parking was good and we loved the garden area.

Property is deceptive, from the road it looks quite small but behind is a lovely building with great gardens. Room was clean and comfy. Best thing by far are the staff, very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them.

A very nice hotel with a lot of character. The room was absolutely superb with four-poster bed which we found very comfortable. Comfortable chairs provided in a large room and the bathroom was very nice. The gardens are nice but the view beyond is unfortunately spoilt by new housing development. Breakfast was nice.

Slept really well both nights. Quiet room overlooking garden. Very clean room and EnSuite. Comfortable mattress. Helpful staff. Breakfast top notch and Sea Bream cooked perfectly. Would stay again. Much better value than budget hotel such as Premier Inn which for those nights was charging more.

The hotel was in a good location in beautiful grounds. The staff were lovely, very helpful. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean. Lovely area's to sit and read inside and out.

We had an excellent evening meal and breakfast. Our room was spacious and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. We like how the car park was securely locked overnight.

Dog friendly (i am not a dog owner) there are lots of separate areas in this quaint place. I really enjoyed having dogs around but not part of the restaurant and they enhanced my visit. Talked to people I may not have connected with but for the pooch. Loved it.

Spacious room with twin beds and sofa. Well heated. Bath with overhead shower. Nice towels. Breakfast very good. One of the ladies changing the beds etc very kindly came down to the car with a piece of luggage I'd left behind. Lovely gardens and close to the shops in Melton. Would stay again if passing that route.

To be honest the whole stay exceeded my expectations of a Best Western Hotel. My room was lovely ,the food was excellent but above all I was really impressed by the fabulous team that worked there. It felt like a family owned hotel, warm and friendly ..5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
